Austrian born Andrea Bennett began her career in hairdressing as an apprentice before joining the renowned Salon Grecht in Vienna. As her experience grew, Andrea joined the Artistic Team and regularly partook in shoots and international hair shows. Her dedication to her craft brought her frequently to London for courses at Vidal Sassoon, until she had the opportunity to work in South Beach, Miami as a hairstylist and make-up assistant working on editorial and advertising photo shoots.
Upon returning to Europe, Andrea joined Vidal Sassoon in Hamburg, training under Peter Dawson as a colourist. She quickly began giving seminars in the academy, while still working in the salon until Alexander Dinter invited her to join him as a freelance educator and his lead colourist. This gave Andrea the opportunity to work with some of the largest brands and product houses, working at shows and on collections across Europe.
Andrea spent nine years with Aveda, first as technical educator, again leading seminars, performing before audiences at international shows and developing collections and photographic shoots before achieving the position of Hair Colour Development Manager. Following her successful career with Aveda, Andrea again teamed up with Alexander, this time as Creative Colour Director for
La Biosthetique, for which she is responsible for driving the colour business for the brand and showcasing the young colour range across Europe.
