Romy Jugg joined
Strangeways, Leigh on Sea, England on leaving school in 2010. She began an apprenticeship working towards her Hairdressing NVQ Level 2 and within just six months had won an opportunity to appear on 'This Morning' TV show, competing to be Jamie Stevens’ apprentice. There followed a huge learning curve as in front of millions Romy had to cut, colour and style the hair of various celebrities. Her natural talent was proved and despite being the youngest in the competition, Romy achieved runner up status.
Romy has since achieved both her NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, plus been a finalist several times in national competitions, including: Regional finalist in Wella TrendVision 2014; three times Regional Finalist, Wella Exposure; Fellowship ClubStar Team finalist; Hair Council finalist.
She is a colour technician and colour specialist in the salon and is often involved in photoshoots and platform work. Romy wants to continue to learn and hopefully work alongside industry names that continually inspire her.
