Celebrity hair colour ideas – Modern Play of Light

Gorgeous hair colour is the backbone of our industry and so we should always have the skills to give our clients the celebrity-driven trends they want.

For the end of 2016 and going into the New Year hair colour is still dominated by freehand, sun-kissed, ombre and balayage techniques making the recent natural development into the current fave, tiger eye. Pastels and rainbow hair are not going anywhere, and we will see more fusion, with chocolate mauve being tipped as the next big thing.

As it’s usually celeb color and styles who our clients wish to emulate we’ve selected our fave looks for now and show how to achieve the looks using the MHDPro Modern Play of Light hairdressing course.

Beautiful Bronde Hair Colour

The beautiful Lily James’ bronde locks frame her face and this is a versatile colour technique which can enhance most clients. It’s ageless and timeless, suiting those who don’t want to be full on blonde but want more flattering, lighter tones around their face.
